Replaced by ACDOCA
GLPCA is completely replaced by ACDOCA in S/4HANA. The Universal Journal natively includes profit center as a field on every line item, eliminating the need for a separate EC-PCA ledger. All profit center reporting in S/4 reads from ACDOCA instead of GLPCA.
key differences:
  • •GLPCA was a separate ledger (8A) requiring parallel postings; ACDOCA is a single source of truth
  • •Partner profit center (PPRCTR) is now directly on ACDOCA line items
  • •No more reconciliation issues between FI and PCA ledgers
  • •ACDOCA carries segment natively, derived from profit center
  • •Migration requires converting GLPCA history into ACDOCA compatible format
