overview

queryviz.io (“queryviz”, “we”, “us”) is a web-based SAP data productivity tool. this policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it. we keep things simple: we collect what we need to run the service and nothing more.

what we collect

account information

when you create an account, we collect your email address and password (hashed, never stored in plain text). authentication is handled by Supabase.

payment information

if you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by Stripe. we never see or store your full card number. Stripe provides us with a customer ID and subscription status.

usage data

we collect basic analytics (page views, feature usage) to understand how the product is used and improve it. we use Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights for this. no personal data is sold or shared with advertisers.

queries you generate

query templates you fill out are processed server-side to generate SQL/ABAP output. we do not store the parameters you enter or the queries generated. generation is stateless.

how we use your data

  • ·to provide and maintain the queryviz service
  • ·to process payments and manage subscriptions
  • ·to send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset, subscription receipts)
  • ·to understand usage patterns and improve the product

we do not sell your data. we do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

third-party services

we use the following third-party services:

  • ·Supabase — authentication and database hosting
  • ·Stripe — payment processing
  • ·Vercel — hosting, analytics, and speed insights

each of these services has their own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

cookies

we use essential cookies for authentication (session tokens). these are always on because they are required for login and security.

analytics cookies (Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights) are optional and are disabled until you explicitly accept them. you can reject analytics on first visit and change your choice anytime using the cookie settings link in the footer.

we do not use advertising or cross-site marketing cookies.

data retention

your account data is retained as long as your account is active. if you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days. payment records may be retained longer as required by law.

your rights

you can:

  • ·request a copy of your data
  • ·request deletion of your account and data
  • ·unsubscribe from any non-essential emails

we may update this policy from time to time. changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. continued use of queryviz after changes constitutes acceptance.
